In the last 24 hours, Panama registered 965 new cases of COVID-19 and 20 deaths, reported the Ministry of Health (Minsa).  With these figures, the country reaches a total of 42,216 infections and 839 deaths from this virus and a lethality of 1.98%.

2,457 new tests were applied to detect COVID-19 with a positivity rate of 39%. There are 20,437 clinically recovered patients and 20,940 active cases, according to the Minsa epidemiological report.
