The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported this Thursday, that 708 new cases of coronavirus have been registered, after the application of 8,293 tests (8.5% positivity). In addition, 22 new deaths are reported in the last 24 hours. With these deaths, the accumulated total rises to 5,572, explained Leonardo Labrador, head of epidemiology at Minsa. There are 1,706 hospitalized people, of which 1,500 are in ward and 206 are in intensive care units (ICU).

The Labor, Health and Social Development Committee of the National Assembly approved in the first debate bill 542, which establishes temporary measures to preserve employment, normalize labor relations and extend the suspension of contracts due to the pandemic.
