The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that in the last 24 hours 15 new deaths were reported, totaling 2,213 to date (fatality of 2.1%).  In addition, 672 new cases are reported, after the application of 5,355 tests (12.5%). To date, the total accumulated cases is 104,138. But of this last figure, 77,881 patients have recovered.

The Panamanian Society of Internal Medicine expressed its concern about the promotion and dissemination of treatments to combat the Covid-19 disease and that it is incorrect to claim that it has an impact on the mortality of patients, especially without scientific support.

The International Arbitration Court partially accepted the lawsuit filed by the Spanish consortium Fomento y Construcciones Contratas (FCC), so that the Social Security Fund (CSS) did not execute the guarantee of compliance with the Ciudad de la Salud project.
