The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), this Thursday, records 911 new cases of Covid-19 and 29 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The director of the Metropolitan Health Region, Israel Cedeño, who detailed the Minsa report, reported that these figures increase the accumulated cases of Covid-19 to 56,817 and deaths to 1,209.

In control operations, in conjunction with the security departments, the Ministry of Health detected 761 people with Covid-19 in the streets and 30,845 people without safe passages, between June 18 and July 22, was reported this Thursday.

The Covid-19 pandemic saturated the main hospitals of the public health system. This is confirmed by specialist doctors who assured that the hospital occupancy margin exceeds 95%, when the ideal situation is to keep it below 85%.

The National Police reported on Thursday, July 23, that 329 people were detained Wednesday night for failing to comply with the curfew regulations.
