It is a music Monday and Ingrid checks in with us this morning, as always for our everyday story of country folk.
We check up on Yazmin’s social calendar for this week, also Yaz takes a look at who was born on this day in the world of music going back to the year, 1939 Mavis Staples, American rhythm and blues and gospel singer, actress and civil rights activist. She recorded and performed with her family’s band The Staple Singers who scored two No.1 singles, ‘I’ll Take You There’ and ‘Let’s Do It Again’.
