The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) detailed on Sunday, 2,422 new positive cases were detected, for a cumulative total of 193,007. While there have been 25 new deaths due to Covid-19, totaling 3,356 accumulated deaths and a fatality of 1.7%. On Saturday, the Minsa reported 2,806 new cases of Covid-19, a record number in one day in Panama. Therefore, this Sunday there is a slight decrease in the number of people infected with the new coronavirus.
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) prohibited, as of yesterday, any activity that involves the agglomeration of people to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in the country, which was provided in Resolution No. 1386, published in the Official Gazette .
