Yazmin takes a look for us at who was born on this day in the world of music: 1942: Edward Bivens singer with the American R&B vocal group The Manhattans. They had the 1976 US No.1 & UK No.4 single ‘Kiss And Say Goodbye’ and the 1980 hit ‘Shining Star’, which won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance. Sixteen of their songs have reached the Billboard Hot 100.
