It will be a pretty quiet week this week as we go into the week of WYD (World Youth Day). With many roads closed for the week it is likely to be you, me and the music for most of the week.

A massive blackout was registered yesterday Sunday, January 20, affecting the whole country.

At about 5:35 p.m., the Company of Transmisión Eléctrica, SA (Etesa) reported that they had completed the operations to reestablish the electrical system, they reported that it was already operating normally throughout the country.

Port workers and the company Panama Ports Company (PPC) and its subcontractor SERVIESTIBA, SA, signed an agreement on Sunday morning, January 20, to normalize the operations of the ports operated by PPC in Balboa and Cristóbal.

The  Electoral Tribunal (TE) is scheduled to distribute $ 45.8 million of the pre-election subsidy between the political parties and the candidates for free application for campaign expenses and electoral propaganda.

The minimum salary of Panamanians is no longer sufficient to acquire the same products that were purchased 10 years ago. Money has lost its value in the face of the gradual and safe increase of goods and services.
