Good morning, as we start a brand new week. Ingrid catches up with her every day story of country folk, Although she is in the City at the moment, about to leave for Florida to do her stint looking after Mum and Dad.
In the eight o’clock hour we have with us Alex Reyes, Slim of Short and Slim a Panamanian talking to us about the upcoming Canal Zone 2024 Reunion 25th through to the 27th January.
Yazmin takes a look for us at who was born on this day in the world of music: 1947: English fashion designer and music manager Malcolm Mclaren. He was a promoter and manager for punk rock and new wave bands such as New York Dolls, Sex Pistols, Adam and the Ants, and Bow Wow Wow, and was an early commercial architect of the punk subculture. His first album, Duck Rock (1982) spawned the top-ten singles ‘Buffalo Gals’ and ‘Double Dutch’.
