Yazmin takes a look this morning at who was born on todays date in the world of music, and today we have? 1930 – Ray Charles, American singer, songwriter and pianist. He is regarded as one of the most iconic and influential singers in history, and was often referred to by contemporaries as “The Genius”. Charles had the 1962 UK & US No.1 single ‘I Can’t Stop Loving You’ plus over 30 US Top 40 singles, and the 2005 US No.1 album ‘Genius Loves Company’.
