Welcome to Monday and a brand new week. We do have a guest with us this morning in the last hour. He been a guest with us in the past when visiting Panama artist and animator George Scribner. George is having a new exhibition of his work starting on May 5th at the Museum of the Canal in Casco. “The show will feature seventeen paintings I did chronicling the construction of the Panama Canal Expansion between 2006 – 2016 plus forty five new original oil paintings of Panama and the Panama Canal”.

I was leaving the Casco Viejo in a cab and got the shot approaching Avenida B. The figures weren’t there, I added them to give the painting a little more storytelling.

Also there will be a chance of attending one of his workshops during the same time at the Museum. After the exhibition the pictures will move to a studio where you will have the opportunity of purchasing them.
