The number of people infected with coronavirus in Panama rose to 11,728 and the deceased total 315, according to the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Wednesday, May 27 .According to the Minsa, there are 281 new cases of Covid-19 reported in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the number of patients recovered amounted to 7,379.

As the country prepares for the opening of the second block of economic activities and the Health authorities emphasize the importance of reinforcing prevention measures, in the past four days more than 250 cases of Covid-19 have been reported daily.

The Minister of Education, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos, presented before the Education Commission of the National Assembly, the strategic plan for coping with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic .
