Panama’s cases rise to 109 and the President initiates a 9pm to 5am curfew effective immediately Wednesday 18th. But we try to keep the spirits up with great music and snippets of fun facts. And we check up on Yazmin at home.


The Health Minister, Rosario Turner, reported that up to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18, there were 109 positive cases in the country, 23 more cases compared to, Tuesday.

President Laurentino Cortizo ordered a curfew across the country, from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, starting last night Wednesday, March 18.

Health checkpoints, water rationing, the temporary closure of recreational or sports venues, the prohibition to celebrate parties in private residences and actions to avoid “crowds” in restaurants, pharmacies and banks are part of the sanitary measures proposed in a bill approved in the first debate this Wednesday, March 18, in the Assembly’s Committee on Labor, Health and Social Development.
