In the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) of this Wednesday, 16 new deaths are reported due to Covid-19, with which the country records 3,002 deaths. According to the Minsa, this Wednesday 9,978 tests were applied to detect people infected with the virus. There were 1,602 new positive cases were detected giving a 16.06% positivity, and a cumulative total of 158,532.
The health authorities have recognized that the numbers of Covid-19 cases in the country show a slight increase, however, they express that the numbers are within expectations due to the reopening of economic activities.
