In the last 24 hours, 248 new infections of Covid-19 were reported  this Wednesday, by the Ministry of Health (Minsa). To detect the new cases, 7,716 tests were carried out for a positivity of 3.2%. Regarding deaths, it was announced that a death was registered and one from a previous date is updated for an accumulated 7,367 deaths from this disease. Active cases total 2,623, of which 2,506 are in home isolation and 117 hospitalized. Those who are in home isolation are divided into 2,425 at home and 81 in hospital hotels. There are 94 patients hospitalized in wards and 23 in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

The direction of the Penitentiary System reported that to date at least 11 thousand inmates have the complete vaccination scheme against the coronavirus . According to information from the entity, a total of 17,119 people have been vaccinated and 11,111 already have two doses received against Covid-19. The prison population is 19,169, which reflects that the percentage of immunized with the complete cycle is 57.9%.

The Ministry of Education (Meduca) made the 2022 school calendar official, which will take place in person and the start of classes will be on March 7.In Executive Decree 2077 of December 1, the 2022 school calendar is established, in face-to-face mode in official and private educational centers of the first and second level of education.

Fuel prices continue to decline. From this Friday, December 3, a liter of 95 octane gasoline will decrease 4 cents and will have a sale price of 93 cents a liter. Meanwhile, the 91 octane will drop three cents and the sale price will be 90 hundredths a liter. While low sulfur diesel decreases 4 cents and the sale price will be 81 cents a liter, reported the National Secretariat of Energy.
