The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported Wednesday, that in the last 24 hours, 4 new deaths from Covid-19 have been reported , for a cumulative total of 6,252.Meanwhile, the number of new cases in the last hours amounts to 356, after the application of 8,724 tests, with a positivity percentage of 4%. Active cases total 3,895. In home isolation, 3,528 are reported, of which 3,342 are at home and 186 in hotels. There are 367 hospitalized and 307 of them are in the ward and 60 are in intensive care units.

The province of Chiriquí, now the epicenter of the Covid-19 pandemic and neighboring Costa Rica, a country hit by the virus, reinforced orientation and control actions to try to stop Covid-19 on the border of Paso Canoa and in Río Sereno.
