The epidemiological report of this Wednesday, July 8, highlights that 20 new deaths have occurred in the country due to the new coronavirus.

Consequently, there are 819 deaths in the country due to Covid-19, so the case fatality rate is 1.98%. In addition, 960 new infected cases were detected this Wednesday. In the country, 41 thousand 251 accumulated cases of people infected with Covid-19 are reported, according to the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

Ricardo Alberto Martinelli Linares , detained since last Monday in Guatemala, will have his extradition hearing to the United States Friday, July 10, at 10:00 am (11:00 am, Panama time).
