It is another short week for us on the Breakfast Show, yesterday being a holiday. Working a five day week will be a bit of a shock! Today is a mainly music day, we do check in with Ingrid and with Yazmin. Big celebrations are taking place in Ingrid’s household as they welcome a new member to the family. Chelsea the puppy!
Yazmin take a look at who was born on this day in the world of music. 1927 was born Johnnie Ray American singer, songwriter, and pianist and teen idol, who had the 1956 UK No.1 & US No.2 single, ‘Just Walking In The Rain’, plus over 20 Top 40 singles between 1952 & 60. Ray has been cited by critics as a major precursor to what became rock and roll.
