In the last 24 hours, one death reported from Covid-19 , detailed the Ministry of Health (Minsa) in its epidemiological report on Monday, May 9. With this death, the total number of people who have lost their lives due to the respiratory virus amounts to 8,194. According to the Minsa, in the last hours 1,359 new positive cases were detected, for a positivity of 22.4%. 6,080 new tests were applied. While the active cases add up to 13,732, of which 13,577 are in home isolation and 155 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 13,548 at home and 29 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 136 in the wards and 19 in intensive care units.
