We have guests in the second hour this morning. Panamanian Soprano Ingrid Rodriquez and pianist Ariel Gonzalez Cedré, who also happens to be the husband of Ingrid.
Ingrid and Ariel will present “Poesía: Love for Piano and Voice,” a musical event that will celebrate the perfect fusion of poetry and music through song. This concert, which is part of the III Chamber Groups Festival, will take place on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the National Library Ernesto J. Castillero in Panama.
The event will feature the participation of Panamanian soprano Ingrid Rodríguez, and Cuban pianist based in Panama, Ariel González Cedré, renowned for their interpretative excellence and passion for classical music. There will also be a special performance by Veraguas-born baritone Héctor Lomba Smith. Through a carefully selected repertoire, the duo will transport the audience through different eras and cultures, performing compositions in Spanish, Italian, French, and German.
