Tito Herrera

Busy morning today. with two great guests on the show. We start in the second hour with Sn Tito Herrera and amazing photographer. Tito is a Photographer, Producer, and Director who specialized in Travel, Editorial, and Documentary projects with frequent assignments worldwide.
For over two decades his work has been requested and featured by organizations and publications such as TIME Magazine, The New York Times, Warner Bros. Discovery, and National Geographic among many others. (Scroll down for an extended clients list)
In 2018 he was given Official Recognition from the United Nations High Commissioner for the Refugees (UNCHR) for his work documenting human migration, internal displacements, and social issues in Central America, that same year he won the Photo District News Magazine (PDN) – WORLD IN FOCUS 2018 Travel Photography Contest – 1st Place – Editorial category for his work on the gangs of El Salvador.

Within the framework of Photography Month, the French Alliance of Panama and UNHCR, the UN Agency for Refugees, we are pleased to present to you the photographic exhibition Los que passing, by photographer Tito Herrera. This exhibition is possible thanks to the support of the French Embassy in Panama, the Mayor’s Office of Panama, the IOM, the AFP  and Photoseptember. We invite you to the opening of the exhibition this September 21 in the main hall of the French Alliance of  Panama at 7:00pm. Free admission. The exhibition will remain available until November 9, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays until 12:00 p.m. Free admission.


Barbara Campisciano

In the last hour our guest in the studio is local artist Barbara Campisciano. Barbara talks about the work they are doing at the Wallerey art Studio helping aspiring artists. But it is also about the help being given to the Oir es Vivir auction that gets underway tomorrow.

On September 20, the 6th edition of the renowned Annual Art Auction begins to benefit the work of Fundación Oír es Vivir, in hybrid format.

More than 100 prominent Panamanian and international plastic artists promote #hearinghealth through their works.

You can also contribute by bidding on your favorite work at the VI Annual Art Auction to benefit the works of Fundación Oír es Vivir, with the motto #TúDonasEllosOyen, from September 20 to 24.

Panama City, September 11, 2023 – The Oír es Vivir Foundation is pleased to announce the start of its VI Annual Art Auction, with the aim of raising funds to continue providing care, education and prevention services for hearing disorders in the vulnerable communities in Panama. More than 100 prominent Panamanian and international artists invite the community to contribute to the promotion and rehabilitation of hearing health for those who need it and to improve their quality of life.
