Today our guest in the last hour today is Eva Bettsak executive director of the Jupa Foundation. Our topic is “Good Deeds Day Panama” which will betaking place on this coming Sunday.
” The commitment of those of us who participate in and organize Good Deeds Day in Panama is to Do Good every day of the year. We believe that promoting volunteerism will help create a new generation of leaders committed to the country’s development, raising awareness about the challenges we face and facilitating the development of new skills. We want to promote a culture of good deeds to show that, with so much bad news every day, we can also build good news on acts of kindness performed at every opportunity.
We’ve been around since 2015, and every year thousands of people join us to do a good deed. The participation we’ve received nationwide motivates us to continue helping others, so we want to encourage you to be a part of it. We aim to create a chain of Good Deeds, and therefore, the focus on promoting Good Deeds Day will increase starting in September with radio, television, and social media campaigns”.
