The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) , of this Monday, reveals that in the last 24 hours there were 132 new infections of Covid-19 , which brings the total number of cases to 476,129. Regarding the new deaths, it was known that it was one for an accumulated of 7,354 deaths and a fatality of 1.5%. The Public Ministry reported on the afternoon of this Monday, November 22, that two people were notified of the arrest warrant that was issued against them as part of the investigation of an alleged embezzlement in the National Charity Lottery. These are two men who do not work in the entity and who went to the offices of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor on a voluntary basis together with their lawyers.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama, Jose Ramón Icaza,revealed that the union he presides over asked the government of President Laurentino Cortizo to review the rule that regulates price control in Panama. Icaza said that on the basis that price controls are still in force in the country, they made the request to the authorities. “We reiterate as a Chamber of Commerce that price control must be eliminated,” reiterated the business leader.
