The Ministry of Health (Minsa) revealed in their Monday epidemiological report that 585 new cases of people infected with Covid-19 were detected.

In addition, the Minsa report highlighted that in the last 24 hours 14 new deaths were reported due to the virus, totaling 1,906 accumulated and a fatality rate of 2.2%.

The Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) reported, that magistrate Carlos Vásquez Reyes admitted a lawsuit of unconstitutionality against the executive decree that established the curfew during the quarantine decreed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

After 2:15 pm, the Budget Committee of the National Assembly approved a transfer of items to the Ministry of Health (Minsa) for $ 16.3 million for the payment of medical personnel, supplies and reagents for the Gorgas Memorial Institute.
