The Panamanian health authorities revealed at Monday’s press conference, that 27 deaths have now been registered in the country due to the new coronavirus and a total of one thousand and 75 cases have been confirmed, of which 888 are in home isolation.

In addition, the Minister of Security, Juan Pino, explained that this Wednesday, April 1 at 5:00 am, an absolute quarantine of 15 days will begin.

In this period, women can only leave their residences on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while men can leave on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. And on Sundays all Panamanians are asked to stay in their homes.

Men and women will follow the same schedule established according to the last number of the identity card and the passport, in the case of foreigners.
