The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported this Tuesday, November 10, that the Rt of Covid-19 cases increased from 1.04 to 1.07 for this week. In addition, it reported that in the last hours 971 new cases of coronavirus and 9 new deaths have been registered (8 in the last 24 hours). Meanwhile, the number of tests applied was 7,079 tests for a positivity of 13.7%

“Veraguas is a province that continues to give us problems,” according to the Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre on Tuedsday , referring to the situation of Covid-19 in that province. “The Rt (effective reproductive number of cases) of Veraguas is not good,” he pointed out. According to the minister, there are districts in Veraguas whose Rt is above 1.15 and 1.20 and “the cases are rising rapidly.”
