Not a movie to go and see! That is the opinion of Andres Clemente when he reviews “Overboard.” A listener wants to know if the cinemas in Panama are guilty of censorship when movies like “Revenge” do not get a decent airing.

The strike in the construction sector – paralyzed for 28 days – will continue until the 2018 and 2021 collective agreement between the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (Capac) and the  Single Trade Union of Construction Workers and Similar (Suntracs). is signed.

Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela  said on Tuesday, May 15, to AFP, shortly before traveling to Israel after the serious incidents in Gaza on Monday, that his country will not move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem .

Freddy Pitti , coordinator of the Together We decided movement , presented yesterday morning a ‘habeas data’ against the comptroller of the Republic, Federico Humbert , for “not supplying the information” contained in the audits that the entity holds with regard to the donations, subsidies and professional services disbursed by the  National Assembly during the period 2014-2017.

President  Juan Carlos Varela partially objected “due to inconvenience and unconstitutionality ” the bill of law 514 , which -among other things- modifies the  Public Contracting Law and establishes the imprescriptibility of corruption offenses.
