In the second hour today we have a load of thespians! Our very own Andres Clemente, Simon Tejeira and Carlota Allen they are here to talks to us about the local production of “Closer”. It Premiered in London in 1997, winner of the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play and nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play, Closer is a raw, uncompromising exploration of human relationships. With an Oscar-nominated film adaptation starring Julia Roberts, Natalie Portman, Jude Law and Clive Owen.
Through direct language and erotically charged narrative, Closer exposes the fragility of desire, the need for connection and the inevitable clash between truth and lies.
