Panama, December 2024 – During these holidays, the “Magic Stations” or collection centers become the main driving force behind “Magical Christmas 2025”, a charity event designed to bring hope and excitement to the community of Boca de Tucué, in the province of Coclé. Organized by PotterFriends Panama, this solidarity project unites efforts to transform the lives of 122 children and their families in one of the most vulnerable regions of the country.
Dates and Location of Magic Stations:
- Albrook Mall (parking, Elephant entrance) : Sunday, December 15, 2024; Saturday, December 28, 2024, and Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- Costa Verde Boulevard (parking in front of El Rey) : On the same dates and times.
- Metro Mall (parking, Panafoto entrance) : Also open on the same dates and times.
These collection points not only receive donations of clothing, footwear, toys, school supplies and other essential items, but are also spaces of unity and solidarity. Each donation that arrives at the “Magic Stations” carries with it a message of support and empathy, transforming the generosity of the community into concrete actions that change lives.
“ Every donation has a direct impact on the lives of the children of Boca de Tucué,” said Kelly Rentería, Director of Potterfriends Panama, “It is much more than a physical gift; it is a gesture of love that symbolizes hope and support.”
The event will culminate on January 5th , when the volunteers, known as PotterFriends, will host an unforgettable celebration in Boca de Tucué. Children will enjoy a day full of games, themed activities, piñatas and sweets, as well as receiving personalized gifts that represent much more than a simple present: they are a sign of care and solidarity.
For Boca de Tucué, a community of just 236 inhabitants, this activity is much more than a festive event. It is an opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas and to remind them that they are not alone. The children will be the main protagonists, but the impact will also extend to their families, who will receive emotional and material relief in the midst of their daily challenges.
PotterFriends Panama invites all citizens to participate in this noble cause by donating at the “Magic Stations” or sharing the message. Every action counts to make this transformative experience a reality. “Magical Christmas 2025” is not just an event; it is a movement that inspires, connects and shows that together we can achieve the extraordinary.
Because magic doesn’t live in fairy tales, but in generous hearts willing to give. This year, become part of the magic.
