The Panamanian health authorities confirmed on Tuesday, March 17, that there are 86 cases of the new coronavirus in the country.Of these confirmed cases, 71 are isolated and quarantined at home with mild symptoms.
The idea that a moratorium be granted for 90 extendable days for the payment of financial commitments with state and private entities, as well as the payment of national and municipal taxes, are some legislative proposals presented by several deputies of the Republic, as measures to face the crisis of the coronavirus .
The deputy Ana Giselle Rosas , from Cambio Democrático, together with other deputies such as the independent Juan Diego Vásquez and Gabriel Silva and the PRD Crispiano Adames , also jointly presented a draft law, which establishes measures of social interest in the face of the health emergency .
The Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (Mitradel) has issued a mandatory labor package of measures in all private companies in the country, in order to mitigate and control the spread of the coronavirus.
Those responsible for Health in Panama, under the command of Minister Rosario Turner, held on Tuesday, a virtual conference with Chinese specialists, seeking information that would allow them to control the coronavirus.
