Andres joins us today in the second hour for our review of what is on at the movies and for this week he has chosen “Gladiator 2”. The original is a big shoe to follow, so how was it? “Gladiator 2 is as epic as the first film; but that’s the problem, why make it in the first place? I believe at his 86 years of age, Ridley Scott is trying to make as many movies as he can. Gladiator 2 has great acting but a contrived plot, which for a sequel of an Oscar Winner is not a winning formula”.
