First, a very happy Birthday to Yazmin!!
We have Andres with us this morning but by Zoom as he readies to go the US for his family Christmas. But this morning Andres reviews the new Avatar movie, “The way of water”. So what did Andres think? “After 15 years a sequel for one of the most successful films of all time arrives in movie theaters. A lot of hype for something that a full generation has no recollection of, and worst of all, they didn’t experience it as it was meant to be. All that going against it, and I still believe it delivers on the expectation. In a time where people are predicting that Movie Theaters will seize to exist, The Way of Water says “Hold my Beer” and brings an experience like no other. Even though the story is not groundbreaking, the visual spectacle is, and with that and a quality story full of adventure, new characters, action, and heartbreak it’s enough for everybody to go experience this film on an IMAX screen with 3D glasses.”
Yazmin takes a look at who was born on this day in music. 1940 Ray Hilderbrand, from American pop singing duo Paul and Paula, who had the 1963 US No.1 & UK No.8 single, ‘Hey Paula’.
