It is the time of the week to take a look at what is on at the movies. This week Andres with some help from Yazmin takes a look at “Space Jam: New Legacy”.

“The 1996 Space Jam is not a great film, but it was done correctly for both kids and basketball fans alike. This incarnation of the franchise seems more tailored for Gamers; it focuses on “power ups” and tricks, the basketball game itself lacks any sort of excitement and most of the references are either incredibly old or not kid oriented (for example: IT the clown as part of the game spectators). It will not remind audiences of their childhood and how much they loved Space Jam, and kids will just be Ok with it”.

My special guest in the last hour today is two time Pulitzer photojournalism prize winner Essdras Suarez. Also one of 20 finalists for the “Dearmoon Project” out of one million applicants. Out of the twenty, eight will be chosen to circumnavigate the moon in 2023. We talk about many aspects of Essdras’ career from how his interest in Photography came about, the teacher that changed his life. Life as a photojournalist and now his work in teaching and promoting photography.
