The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), of this Tuesday, August 25, registers 896 new cases and 13 deaths in the last 24 hours.These figures increase the accumulated cases of Covid-19 to 88,381 and deaths rise to 1,919, reported Israel Cedeño, director of the Metropolitan Health Region. The latest number of recovered patients is 62,759 (574 new) and active cases are 23,703.

The “updated national-provincial reopening plan” was approved on Tuesday afternoon, August 25, by the Cabinet Council.
