Wednesday 28th August 2019. Movie Review with Andres Clemente.

August 28, 2019

Andres Clemente is back with us for this weeks review of the movies. Two come under the spotlight this week, the new Quentin Tarantino film “Once upon a time in Hollywood” and the Panamanian film directed by Arturo Montenegro “Todos Cambiamos”.  Andres’s comments, “Tarantino films have become events, people mark up their release dates on their calendars and make going to the movies “a special night out”. For his 9th film, I did exactly that; while on vacation, in Spain, I asked my family to join me going to the local movie theater, buy popcorn, candy, soda, and more and sat with a bunch of strangers simply basking in this man’s ability in making original films. The film is packed with great performances, full of laughs, happy endings, amazing nostalgic feel and a fun soundtrack. Like all Tarantino films, I will revisit it and probably get more out of it.”

And as for Todos Cambiamos,”A very moving film by known writer-director Arturo Montenegro. A family movie made for the times we live in filled with great performances and remarkable cinematography. “
