Today being Wednesday we do have this week with us Andres Clemente for this weeks movie review. This week it is a local movie which is Panama’s entry for the Oscars. “Compleañero” Watching closely Arturo Montenegro’s career, is fascinating seeing how he keeps learning and trying new things to add to his repertoire; this constant evolution has him in the conversation of the best Director in Panama. I believe Cumpleañero keeps him in that spot. People may say Cumpleañero tell the story about a topic hard to swallow, but its fair to say that this film is not a story about suicide but a story about true friendship and who’s really there in the toughest moments. Don’t miss Cumpleañero in movie theatres.
