The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) highlighted this Tuesday, April 6, that seven new deaths are reported in the last 24 hours due to Covid-19. In addition, a death from previous days was updated. With the new deaths in the country, 6,146 are accumulated, according to the Minsa. According to the figures released this Tuesday, 357 new cases are registered in the country, for a cumulative of 356,913. While in the country there are 4,614 active cases. In addition, those recovered this Tuesday add up to 434 and the accumulated would be 346,153. According to the entity, 10,381 new tests were carried out on April 6, for a percentage of positivity of 3.4%, the lowest since the pandemic began in the country.
At least 1,200 educators received their first dose of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine on Monday, in circuit 8-6 (San Miguelito district). This Monday began the stage of vaccinating teachers, as part of the plan of “gradual return” to blended classes in the country.

After the enactment of Law No. 208 of April 6, 2021, the general tax amnesty for the payment of taxes is extended.
